Custom Golf Clubs
At Indian Hills, our certified professional clubmakers custom build all kinds of clubs: drivers, fairway woods, hybrid utility clubs, irons, wedges, putters and more.
We feature KZG clubheads as our premium brand. KZG heads have won many awards from independent testing agencies, and have as well been played in major championships. The Gemini driver in particular has been very successful.

For shafts, we carry a large variety from True Temper, Graffaloy, UST, Aldila, Graphite Design, Royal Precision, Fujikura, and more.

Our grips selection is even more extensive, with dozens of choices. Grip sizing is always included with installation.

Modern technology in driver heads and shafts especially has made it possible for nearly all players to hit longer and straighter drives than ever before. Launch monitor fitting plus the larger selection of lofts and shafts allow us to optimize drivers for any player, from the scratch golfer to the casual, once a month player.
Again, there are many different kinds of clubs available, from fairway woods to hybrids to traditional irons. Which ones are the best for you? Which clubs will be most beneficial to your game? Each player's optimal set makeup depends on the individual golfers swing and style of play. Our professional clubmakers can make recommendations as to which clubs each golfer should carry in his or her bag. For example, a player with a low clubhead speed who does not hit the ball very far can benefit from more lofted fairway woods and fewer long irons. Actually, almost all players will benefit by replacing the long (2, 3, 4) irons with hybrid clubs or lofted fairway woods.

Hybrids launch the ball more easily than irons, and usually keep the ball flight straighter as well. If you have one or more clubs in your bag that you rarely (or never) hit well, think about replacing them with clubs that will help your game. Often a player will gain by eliminating a long club that has not been reliable, and adding another wedge. Getting the ball close to the hole with your short chips and pitch shots is one of the quickest ways to lower your scores. Set makeup is extremely important, and each player's individual set should be tailored to his or her specific game.
Club fitting sessions typically run between 45 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on how extensive the golfer wishes the analysis to be. There is a $50 fee for the fitting session that is applied towards the purchase of custom clubs. The club fitters at Indian Hills are available by appointment (please call at least 24 hours in advance) Monday through Saturday, with appointments beginning from 10am to 4:30pm.
